Two UQS Developed Items Won 2009 Housewares Design Awards

UQS Global, Ltd. proudly announces that the Humidiheat and ZAPI UV Toothbrush Sanitizer, two products UQS developed specially for their clients, have been named winners of 2009 Housewares Design Awards! This is another success for UQS, following their IonicPro Turbo Air Purifier winning 2008 design awards.

Honoring design excellence for the art of living, the Housewares Design Awards is the premiere design award competition focused on the housewares industry. From more than 300 entries, 65 finalists were selected representing 13 housewares categories. Finalists were selected by a panel of independent judges (coordinated by International Housewares Associations - IHA) based on design believed to differentiate a product with unique appearance and/or function. Best in Category awards were presented in each category.

ZAPI UV Toothbrush Sanitizer won Best in Category in Personal Care/Health Care & Garment Care Electrics, competing with other well-known brands such as Panasonic and Pretika. Humidiheat held that honor in the Home Environment category, leaveing other brands like Cuisinart and Plaston behind.
